The RFP is available electronically at the CSC website, www.cscbroward.org.  Copies are also available at the Children’s Services Council office at 6600 West Commercial Boulevard, Lauderhill, Florida, 33319.

Palm Beach

The City of West Palm Beach is donating two properties managed by the city’s Department of Housing and Community Development to Habitat for Humanity so that Habitat can build single family homes on them. The two vacant lots, located at 1090 17th Street and 1053 17th Street are worth just under $20,000 combined. The two properties have been managed by the city and set aside for affordable or workforce housing. The agreement requires that a Habitat-qualified homeowner live there for the first ten years. In addition to helping provide affordable housing, the deal also ensures that the properties return to the tax rolls in the city.
