dean_napolitano_web.jpgThe first “Home Safe for Kids Comedy Fest” will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre, City Place, West Palm Beach.

Dean Napolitano will headline the show.

Proceeds will benefit Home Safe, a 31-year-old organization catering to children affected by abuse, neglect, abandonment, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and domestic violence.  It is the only agency in Palm Beach County and one of only 13 in Florida that offers specialized therapeutic group care residential programs for abused children and teens.

The Comedy Fest activities will include a Celebrity Stand up Battle involving Curt Fonger of CBS, Josh Cohen of Real Radio,  Sammy Cruise of WIRK and Batnails of the BUZZ. They will take to the mic to battle for the Top Celebrity Comic Crown, to be determined by the audience.

A silent auction will also be held, from 6:30 p.m., featuring items  donated by local companies. Home Safe will also accept donations suitable for boys and girls ages 9 to 18.
