Palm Beach County State Attorney Michael McAuliffe announces the arrest of Boynton Beach Police Officer Michael Mulcahy and Former Boynton Beach Police Officer Michael Arco.
According to the arrest affidavits the arrests are related to their alleged lying on police reports about a November 30, 2010 drug arrest at a motel.
“The defendants falsified their supplemental police reports regarding the manner in which they gained entry to the fugitive’s motel room."
"Additionally, Michael Arco put the same false statement regarding the method of entry into the motel room in his sworn probable cause affidavit forming the basis for a felony arrest of one of the other occupants of the motel room,” states a press release from the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office.
