African-American Film Festival
Thursdays March 21, 28 and April 4 at 7 p.m. James Drayton, producer, teams up with the Kravis Center to bring audiences the eighth season of the acclaimed film series this spring. Featured this year: The Destruction of Black Wall Street: Tulsa, Oklahoma 1921 (March 21); Banished: American Ethnic Cleansings (March 28); A Deadly Deception: The Tuskegee Experiment (April 4). Tickets $10 per night, $25 for the entire festival.

Chick Corea and Béla Fleck
Thursday, March 21 at 8 p.m. Two of the most gifted and adventurous improvisers in the world on their respective instruments, pianist Chick Corea and banjo player Béla Fleck, unite for an evening of duets. Corea owns 20 Grammys and a resume that includes stints with Miles Davis as well as the legendary jazz/rock band he founded, Return To Forever. Fleck, a 15-time Grammy winner, is the most versatile and innovative banjo-picker in the world, fearlessly navigating bebop, bluegrass, classical and everything in between. Tickets start at: $20.

The Temptations
and the Four Tops
Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m. Two legendary groups that virtually defined the classic Motown sound perform a lengthy list of memorable chart-topping hits that include Baby I Need Your Loving, It’s The Same Old Song, My Girl and Just My Imagination. It doesn’t get any better. Tickets start at: $25.

Queen Latifah
Sunday, March  24 at 8 p.m. Queen Latifah a one-woman entertainment conglomerate, hip-hop’s first lady has hosted a self-titled TV talk show; starred in the TV comedy series Living Single and apeared in numerous films, including Chicago and Hairspray, which earned her Oscar nominations. Join her for a memorable evening of jazz, blues and soul. Tickets start at: $25.

The Monterey Jazz Festival
Thursday, April 11 at 8 p.m. Featuring leading critically acclaimed, Grammy winning jazz artists, the All-Star band consists of bassist and musical director Christian McBride, vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater, saxophonist Chris Potter, trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, pianist Benny Green and drummer Lewis Nash.

Embracing the past, present and future of jazz, the Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour 55th Anniversary Celebration will perform an assortment of classic jazz repertoire and original compositions by band members. Tickets start at: $25.
