renee_strong.jpgATLANTA Atlanta native and former Florida A&M student Renee Strong is getting rave reviews in the Gospel music world for her angelic voice and sacred lyrics. Recently in North Florida to shoot her first gospel music video, the inspirational songs written and sung by Strong have been acclaimed by gospel singers and musicians worldwide.

For Strong, singing is all about God’s will. As a songwriter and co-founder of Take Note Entertainment, she and producer Wirlie Morris successfully built a catalog of hit songs of various genres in the U.S. Europe and Japan.

Strong has also contributed to the projects of many major artists.

Her writing ability also extends to movies and plays. They include Step Aside, a song co-written by Strong for Tyler Perry’s Daddy’s Little Girls and the stage play What’s Done in the Dark was sung by Tamela Mann and Yolanda Adams.

Although she’d been writing gospel for years, the theatrical work was Strong’s first national exposure as a writer in the gospel area.

Finding success in the music industry, she still felt as though she had not fulfilled the calling placed on her life to become a gospel recording artist.

That is changing.

Her first solo recording, Reborn, is Strong’s continuing the call of God to actively minister through music but now she has a wonderful testimony along with the Word of God.

“I pray this project reaches into the soul of the listener and deposits the anointing and peace of God that was present during the creation of each song,” she said.
